Pricing Philosophy

We charge rates that allow us to do excellent work without cutting corners. Security and performance engineering require depth of attention that rushed timelines cannot accommodate.

We provide value-based pricing for defined projects and hourly rates for ongoing work. We do not compete on price. If budget is the primary decision factor, we are likely not the right fit.

All estimates include architectural documentation, code review, testing, and knowledge transfer. These are not optional add-ons.

Advisory & Review

Complexity varies significantly across projects. These factors help determine where a project falls within our ranges.

Platform Scope

Single platform (iOS, Android, web) vs. multiple platforms with shared architecture requirements.

Security Depth

Basic authentication vs. end-to-end encryption, HSM integration, or compliance requirements.

Performance Constraints

Standard web latency vs. sub-100ms requirements or high-throughput transaction processing.

UX Complexity

Standard interfaces vs. complex state management, offline-first, or real-time synchronization.

Legacy Systems

Greenfield development vs. integration with existing systems, data migration, or parallel operation.

Compliance Requirements

No specific compliance vs. SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS, or other regulatory requirements.

What's Not Included

Infrastructure costs (cloud hosting, third-party services) are client responsibilities and not included in our pricing.

Third-party license fees, app store fees, and any external software subscriptions required for the project are separate.

Ongoing maintenance after project completion is quoted separately. We can provide retained support or transition to your internal team.
